INDTRODUCTION


The Indywood Campus Film Festival is being organized to create a platform for student-level filmmakers to showcase their talent. We will serve as a bridge between talented students and the cinema world by promoting their abilities.

As a student film festival, we aim to establish a community of student filmmakers where they can share and exhibit their work. The Indywood Campus Film Festival seeks to provide a head start to talented students in the film industry and recognize their achievements, capabilities, and craft.

SALIENT FEATURES


  1. Three Online events shall take place from July to Nov 2020
  2. The Physical Festival shall take place on December 5th, 2020
  3. Zone wise competition - North zone, Central zone, South zone(refer the below chart for more clarity)
  4. Finalist from each zone will be competing in Physical event

SELECTION CRITERIA


Online Event:

  1. Out of the entries received, best 15 entries from each zone, will be announced as Official Selection of the Festival
  2. 03 entries will be selected for the Final selection round

Physical Event:

  1. 09 Films shall compete for the final physical event
  2. 03 entries will be selected for the Final selection round

Awards

  1. One film from each category will be declared as the winner
  2. Winners will be awarded a certificate, trophy, special mention through our social media, and an exclusive interview with the media present at the Festival.

BENEFITS TO PARTICIPANTS


  1. The students/talents will get recognition and opportunity to take part in the film projects.
  2. Talented students will get a chance to attend the workshops by Industry legends.
  3. The participants will get a platform to interact with film industry professionals.
  4. Budding artists/filmmakers and students will get a platform to showcase and develop their talents.
  5. The participants will get more opportunities to watch world-class Film showcases at the Festival.
  6. The young talents will get a chance to get involved in Film Club activities
  7. The participants will also get an opportunity to register their information in the global talent database, which will be utilized for the different film project requirements.

RULES & REGULATIONS


  1. All entries must be original and created by students.
  2. Films produced after the 1st of January 2018 will be eligible to compete in the competition category.
  3. Participants can register by choosing the zone under which their district comes
  4. Participants from the respective area must apply accordingly
  5. A participant cannot take part in more than one competition category
  6. There is no limit to the number of films that a filmmaker, producer or film school may submit
  7. Student Short & Debut Short Films - Entries must be longer than 05 minutes, and less than 30 minutes, including credits
  8. Student Micro Films Entries must be longer than 1 minute, but less than 30 minutes including credits
  9. Participant must upload a copy of a valid student ID along with the filled-up entry form
  10. The final video must be uploaded in MP4/MOVE/MPEG-4 format. The video should be strictly below 750mb
  11. Entries will be closed before 15 days of the respective months
  12. By submitting the work, you certify that you hold necessary rights for the presentation of this film at ICFFF
  13. The short film can be in any language. However, all films must include subtitles in English.
  14. Once a movie has been submitted it cannot be withdrawn
  15. Films must be provided by filling up the entry form and providing an online screener
  16. We strongly advise participants to send their movies before the official deadline.
  17. Being a not for profit festival, the organizers will not pay any screening fees
  18. All films selected for the Festival grant ICFF the right to use them for promotional purposes
  19. The Festival committee shall be responsible for choosing the best movies for the Festival
  20. The entrant will be responsible for ALL SHIPPING FEES
  21. All filmmakers will be notified regarding their selection/acceptance via email
